Pieter is one of the directors and owners of Xplore Africa Tours. He is passionate about South Africa and loves sharing the beauty of our country and its nation with all who cross his path.
He is a qualified guide and personally accompanies the groups that make use of Xplore Africa’s services. He is a well of knowledge and always looking to learn something new.
His true passion, however, is people and that is what makes him so good at what he does!
Juanita is the other half of the directing team and co-owns Xplore Africa. Not only is she and Pieter business partners, but they are also partners in life and have been married for 25 years.
Juanita preforms much of the behind the scenes work that makes this dynamic duo work.
She pays close attention to detail and is crucial in developing each group’s unique itinerary.
Chivell is the newest member to the business, having graduated university in 2014 and joined Xplore Africa in 2018. He brings with him several years of experience in hospitality management and tourism, and has recently qualified as a guide and performs much of the behind the scenes work ensuring a memorable experience for clients visiting South Africa and Africa. His passion is working with people and to be an ambassador for his country and nation.

Xplore Africa Tours is a family owned, South African Inbound Tour Broker. We specialise in unique group tours for senior citizens, choirs/performing arts and special interest groups. Although individual travel is not our primary focus, we tailor make each tour to suit our individual clients’ needs.

The Myburghs are passionate people – especially when it comes to love for their native land and its natural splendour.
